These are a few more pictures of the puppies that were taken at the age of two days old...
This was all nine pups, though one pup had snuggled down so deep under the pile that you can only just make out a bit of her tail! You can see the cute little white spot on the top of one of the Landseer boys here in this photo. Landseer coated Newfoundland pups are often white with large black patches but these guys have the much more rare brown patches instead. All the puppies in this litter are the (more unusual for Newfoundlands) brown color. Two of the three boys are the Landseer color.
This sweet girl has cute little white "toe beans" as one adoring visitor recently called them. And she has a a hint of white on her chin!
